Conclusions of the Cable Communications Convention 2003:
The percentages paid by the cable industry for copyrights need to be low, at the level of neighboring countries, EU members or undergoing adhesion.
The tariffs paid for using the posts in the rural area need to encourage the penetration of cable network in villages.
Illegal connecting is an attempt upon the quality of service, upon the development of the cable companies and upon the state budget, by decreasing the tax basis. The authorities competent in fighting against this phenomenon, attending the National Convention, have ensured that they are more and more informed and prepared to fight back.
